Department of Paediatrics

Is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. genetic unit has been added to our department which provides clinical genetic services Department is successfully running the immunization clinic, Well baby clinic, Asthma clinic, Nursing clinic. The department also plans to provide prenatal diagnostics services and molecular diagnostics tests for common and rare genetic disorders with in future etc. The goal of teaching of undergraduate students in pediatrics is to acquire knowledge & appropriate skills for optimally dealing with major health problems of children & to ensure their optimal growth & development. Pediatric conditions like cerebral palsy, hyperactive disorders, infantile hemiplegic, mental retardation, therapy for sensory organs etc. are treated by Occupational Therapist.
