About Library

The Central Library of K.M.S.K. Government Medical College, Chandrapur serves as the academic backbone of the institution, providing students, faculty, and researchers with access to an extensive collection of medical literature, reference books, journals, and digital resources. Established alongside the college in 2015, the library has grown steadily to house over 7,043 volumes across 2,129 unique titles spanning all major medical disciplines. The collection is well-organized and aligned with the curriculum prescribed by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. The library subscribes to 15 national and international medical journals and provides access to online databases and e-resources through 20 dedicated digital access terminals. A quiet and spacious reading hall accommodates students throughout the academic year and during examination periods. Library services include book lending, reference assistance, photocopy facilities, and internet-enabled research support. The library strives to foster a culture of self-directed learning and evidence-based medical practice among all members of the college community.
